🌱 Hamilton County Increased Utility Rate + Gucci Opens In Cincinnati

Here are the top three stories today in Cincinnati:

  1. For the first time in roughly eight years, the Hamilton County Commission has voted to increase Cincinnati utility rates. The three percent rate increase was approved as a part of next year's Metropolitan Sewer District (MSD) budget. Only one commissioner — Alicia Reece — voted against the increase. (WCPO 9 Cincinnati)
  2. There's lots of fun to be had around the Cincinnati area this weekend! Local events include the performances of The Nutcracker, presented by the Cincinnati Ballet, and Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!) at the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company.   3. Gucci has opened its first store in the Cincinnati area. The international luxury retailer opened its new location on Dec. 15, across from the Louis Vuitton store in the Nordstrom wing of the Kenwood Towne Centre. The boutique, which spans 5,300 square feet, offers a selection of men's and women's shoes, handbags, luggage, small leather goods, jewelry, watches, and eyewear. (WKRC TV Cincinnati)
