- A man was arrested for allegedly stealing an AR-15 from a Cincinnati Police Department vehicle on Dec. 29. Daveno Brown, 27, is facing a theft charge – for which a witness says he admitted to stealing from the police vehicle. It is unclear how Brown was able to remove the firearm from the police vehicle. (FOX19)
- A Westwood man is facing serious charges after fracturing his eight-day-old son's arm while changing his clothes. Edgar Bush, 43, apparently forcefully pulled his son's arm out of his clothing, causing a fracture, and now faces felonious assault and child endangerment charges. (WKRC TV Cincinnati)
- Brent Spence Bridge will finally get improvements after the project was granted funding amounting to $1.635 billion. The funding comes from the U.S. Department of Transportation through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law of 2021. The current condition of the bridge is considered "functionally obsolete." (WCPO)
