- According to Hamilton County Dispatch, Colerain police are searching for a suspect in a shooting in the Cincinnati suburb of Groesbeck on Monday night. The incident occurred in the 9000 block of Cross Ridge Trail, where one person suffered from a gunshot wound. No other details have been released. (WLWT Cincinnati)
- In a Dec. 12 ruling, the Ohio Supreme Court sided with Cincinnati Financial Corp. and determined the company did not have to pay business interruption claims for policyholders that closed their doors because of COVID-19. This ruling could potentially impact dozens of Ohio pandemic insurance cases, including four in Hamilton County that were on hold pending the court's decision. Ultimately, the ruling was made because the presence of COVID-19 did not cause physical damage to property. Cincinnati Financial has reportedly faced over 40 lawsuits in Ohio alone for its denial of COVID-related business closure insurance claims. (WCPO 9)
- Residents who were left without water and other maintenance services at Williamsburg of Cincinnati apartments in Hartwell are getting help from Cincinnati. The city sent the apartment a list of demands, outlined in detail, and says it is prepared to take the complex to court if management does not comply. (WKRC TV Cincinnati)
