On Aug. 21, a free event will help families get ready for the coming school year.
CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — A back-to-school drive will be held in Coventry Village on Aug. 21.
The free, family-friendly event will include 60 vendors and a daylong schedule of activities. Festivities start at 2 p.m. and will continue through 8 p.m.
"Benefiting children is the focus of this event. The organizers will be giving away various donations to ensure that every student in our community is confident and ready to grow and learn this year! They will be donating school supplies and softly worn clothes. These will be available for free while supplies last," said Mallory Phillips, executive director of the Coventry Special Improvement District.
