Cleveland Heights Police Blotter: 7-Year-Old Said She Found Bullets in Glove

The student at Oxford Elementary and all interviewed say they do not know where they came from

Burglary/Breaking and Entering  

There was a burglary on Noble Road reported March 22. A flat-screen TV was taken from the third floor of the building.

There was a burglary on Monticello Boulevard reported March 23. A flat-screen TV, computer, cash and clothes were stolen.

There was a burglary on Nelaview reported March 25. A flat-screen TV, computer, printer, Playstation, baby clothes and other clothes were stolen.

Copper plumbing was stolen from a vacant home and reported on March 26 on Berkeley Road.

Copper plumbing was stolen from a non-vacant home on Bendemeer Road and reported on March 25.

Bullets Found in 7-year-old's Glove

A 7-year-old at found two .38-caliber bullets in her glove March 25. It was not certain where they came from or when they were put there, as all interviewed denied involvement.

Juvenile Reports 

A caller reported that five kids were throwing glass bottles and rocks at several homes March 29. The police advised them to stop and stay away from the caller’s home.  

A caller reported that a juvenile was hiding in the bushes near the home on Superior Park Drive on March 24. Police reported that the child just wanted to be an actor and was practicing.

A caller reported that several young people were fighting in the street on Revere Road March 28, but they were gone when police arrived.

A caller reported that several young people were fighting in the street on Meadowbrook Boulevard and Lee Road March 28. All but one were gone when police arrived.

A caller reported that kids were stealing flowers on Berkshire and Coventry roads March 26. Police arrived and advised them.

Grand Theft/Car Related Theft

A car was stolen on Altamont Road March 29. On the same day, police reported that a car was recovered on the same road; however, police did not say whether it was the same car.

Items from a car on Lee Road were stolen and the caller reported the incident on March 22.

A car window was broken and items inside were stolen in the parking lot on Cedar and South Taylor roads. The caller reported the incident March 22.

A black leather bag was stolen from a car parked at CVS on Lee Road March 27.

Bike Theft 

A bike was stolen from a basement on Cedar Road on March 23.

A caller reported that his bike tires were stolen on Overlook Road March 24.

A bike was stolen from Euclid Heights Boulevard on March 26.

A bike was stolen near Oxford and Quilliams roads March 27.

A bike was stolen on Whitethorn Road March 28.
