The officer avoided prison through a plea deal and resignation, while the Cleveland Heights man, already imprisoned for a drunk-driving crash, received an additional minor conviction and had to forfeit a firearm.
   

4. Ohio Football Wins Seventh-Straight Bowl Game With 17-10 Scooter's Coffee Frisco Bowl Victory (ohiobobcats.com) — A Cleveland Heights native, safety Adonis Williams Jr., earned defensive player of the game honors as Ohio University edged UNLV 17-10 in the Scooter’s Coffee Frisco Bowl.
