Drive-Thru Food Bank Coming To Cleveland Heights

The Farmers to Families program offers fresh produce, meat and milk to participants.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — A drive-thru food bank will be held in Cleveland Heights on July 22.

The Cleveland Heights Community is working with the Cleveland Food Bank to distribute food for the Farmers to Families programs. Recipients will receive farm fresh food in a box, the city said in a statement.

The next distribution date is July 22 at the Community Center, 1 Monticello Boulevard. Anyone interested in receiving food must call 216-691-7377 in advance to reserve a box.

Supplies are limited.

The Farmers to Families program previously brought food to Cleveland Heights through the Heights Schools. In October 2020, recipients received 35 pound boxes of fresh produce, cooked meats and milk.
