“Earth Month in the Heights” is a collaborative effort led by the Cleveland Heights Green Team in partnership with Heights Library to affirm that we all have the responsibility and power to protect our environment, live healthier lives, and create an equitable, prosperous green economy for all.
Heights residents, grassroots groups, neighborhood associations, businesses, schools, and government entities are welcome to organize and participate in a wide range of events aimed to engage, inform, and inspire transformational community action.
CHGT seeks to generate ideas and organize activities that promote environmental awareness and remind us that we can be advocates for the planet in our everyday lives. Activities could be hands-on green space or neighborhood beautification projects, nature walk, tree planting, sprucing neighborhood gardens, “how to” seminars, forums, art exhibits, upcycle workshops for children and adults, bike rallies, group PLALKING, PLOGGING, and/or PLIKING. The options are limitless,. The idea is to bring the community together and offer opportunities for everyone to join and connect.

There are two ways to participate, you can organize an event and fill out a short form and tell us about your event. It will be added to the Earth Month in the Heights Calendar of Events for everyone to see and join. Or you can join in by attending any of the events taking place throughout April in the Heights. Just check out the calendar and invite family, friends, neighbors and have fun while doing good.
