Suspect in California Synagogue Bombing Arrested in Cleveland Heights

Ron Hirsch spotted by a 'concerned citizen' Monday night, according to FBI officials

The suspect in the California synagogue bombing on Thursday was arrested in Cleveland Heights Monday night, according to FBI officials. 

Ron Hirsch, aka Israel Fisher, has been linked to the blast at the Chabad House Lubavitch of Santa Monica, Santa Monica Patch reported. No one was injured in the incident.

"The individual in custody was arrested following a call to law enforcement by a concerned citizen who had come into contact with (the) man believed to be Hirsch," said FBI spokesperson Laura Eimiller in an email.

Hirsch, 60, bought a Greyhound bus ticket under the name J. Fisher, one of his aliases, which was scheduled to arrive in New York on Sunday. The bus was due to make 10 stops between Los Angeles and New York.
