Why Go: The band, which has rocked stages at Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo, plays songs from its new album, The Cradle.

3. BIG DOG THEATER OPENING 

Where/When: 2781 Euclid Heights Blvd., Cleveland Heights, Saturday, 8:30 p.m.

Why Go: Big Dog Theater kicks off its opening in the historic Centrum Theater with comedians Jeff Blanchard and Quinn Patterson.

Pricing: $10 advance, $12 at the door (includes pre-show party at at 7 p.m.), $35 for a show ticket and

4. ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW AT PLAZA CINEMAS 

Where/When: Plaza Cinemas at Chapel Hill, Saturday, midnight         

Why Go: It never gets old. In fact, it’s actually been in limited release for 35 years – the longest run in film history. And, if you attend in costume, it’s only six bucks. If you can't wait until the first weekend of the month to attend the show at Cedar Lee, head to Plaza Cinemas. 

Pricing: $6 in Rocky Horror gear, regular admission ($9 adults) if not

Where/When: First Unitarian Church of Cleveland, 21600 Shaker Blvd., Shaker Heights, Sunday, 9:30 a.m.

Why Go: Hiram College’s Political Science Department Chair will be speaking about political, religious and cultural realities in Middle Eastern countries and how they will work toward security.
