New COVID-19 Case Identified In Heights Schools
A Heights Schools staffer tested positive for the virus, the district announced this week.
CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — A Heights Schools staffer has tested positive for COVID-19, the district announced this week.
The staffer works primarily at Millikin, but was also in the Board of Education offices on April 16. The staffer appears to have been mostly solitary while working and investigators have found they had no close contact with any students or other staffers.
"Additional cleaning and disinfecting of the spaces the staff member occupied, which include an office, surrounding work spaces, and the break room (all at Millikin), occurred this morning," the district said in a statement on Monday evening.
