• New and returning faces join CH City Council in 2026 (heightsobserver.org) — Cleveland Heights has officially sworn in both new and returning City Council members, including Craig Cobb, Jessica Cohen, Tony Cuda, and Joseph DeWitt-Foy, with Gail Larson elected vice president. The ceremony underscored priorities like safer, more walkable streets, more parks and recreation, environmental sustainability, and keeping Cleveland Heights a family-friendly, diverse inner-ring suburb.
   

• 1 of 5 people charged in connection with murder of Euclid man in Willoughby to be sentenced (cleveland19.com) — A 20-year-old Cleveland Heights resident who admitted to firearm and stolen property charges tied to a fatal September 2025 shooting in Willoughby is scheduled for sentencing in Lake County court. Several co-defendants, including an alleged juvenile gunman and two Willoughby men, still face multiple counts and upcoming change-of-plea hearings in February.
