Schedule For August's Final Friday In Coventry Released

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — Coventry Village will say goodbye to August during its Final Friday event on Aug. 27.

From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., the village will host an artwalk and market that includes an all-night happy hour, discounted shopping, sidewalk art, live entertainment and more. Parking continues to be free at all local garages and meters.

Here's the schedule for the upcoming event:

5 p.m.

• Art walk and market in Pekar Park Courtyard, featuring live art and art vendors
• Dollar sale at Avalon Exchange and Mac's Backs Books (until close)
• Pop-up dance party with Club Neilism, outside of The Exchange/Key Bank (5 p.m. to 8 p.m.). Features dance tunes and other music from 50s through the 80s.

6:30 p.m.

• Poetry performance with Andrea Doe in Pekar Park

7 p.m.

• Book signing and reading featuring Raechel Anne Jolie, author of Rust Belt Femme. Jolie will do an outdoor event hosted by Mac's Back at the Coventry Peace Arch.

8:30 p.m.

• Free back-to-school movie screening in the park (Ferris Bueller's Day Off)
