We Can Do So Much More With What We Have: District 22

Our county, together with our local eastside communities, is at a crossroads. We have resources available, yet access to those resources is out of reach for many on the Eastside. Our business community needs a multi-layered approach, similar to that of the Westside’s, to expand customer access and increase revenues for Eastside local businesses.

Eastside housing is in short supply, and many of our houses need renovation. Our school system should have greater transparency of operations to facilitate ongoing community support. Eastside neighborhoods deserve creative ideas aimed at improving safety. Our seniors and families need to know their homes are their future economic safety net. Let’s take action on the issues that are important to us without delay. There are exciting, innovative ways to address safety, create sustainable economic equity, and provide resident-focused solutions to some of our biggest problems as a community.

Medicare for All would allow economic resiliency that benefits our entire community. By improving our county infrastructure through the utilization of modern technologies, such as blockchain, we reduce bureaucratic paperwork and improve the efficiency of the delivery of services, such as Medicare for All and tax payment services. Efficient delivery of services helps to expand economic equity. Utilizing the enhanced technology of blockchain will deliver immediate, auditable, traceable, verifiable, and retrievable exchange of information. This will end government agencies’ blaming residents for failure to adhere to rules and regulations. Additionally, reduced paperwork and increased efficiencies will greatly benefit our environment.

Delivering results through a faster, accurate flow of information frees residents from the inefficiencies of bureaucracy. Residents will have a favorable view of their more efficient government and this will affect greater community interaction, including voting.

Residents’ participation in government is vital for our communities' health and economic stability. We the residents of Cuyahoga County deserve a seat at the economic table and our government’s undivided attention. Change is coming to the Eastside and I will ensure our seat at the table.
