Columbiana County Educational Service Center robotics leagues (reviewonline.com) — Students from Columbiana and neighboring districts are already battling it out in three countywide robotics leagues for the 2025–26 school year. From elementary through high school, local teams are competing in VEX challenges now, with more rounds ahead before February finals.
   

2. Suspect in Leetonia teacher's murder denied motions to suppress evidence (wfmj.com) — A Columbiana County judge has cleared key phone, vehicle, and records evidence to be used in the upcoming murder trial tied to a Leetonia High School teacher’s 2023 death. The ruling, based on search warrants executed by the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office, keeps texts, location data, and truck evidence in play when the case goes to trial in February.
   

3. Sex sting suspect enters plea in Columbiana County case (wkbn.com) — A recent plea in Columbiana Municipal Court led to a suspended jail sentence, fines, and two years of probation for a man arrested in a Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force sting. The case, supported by Salem police, involved an undercover operation targeting people who try to buy sex online. Probation terms include completing an online prostitution-prevention program.
   

4. Clippers control Bulldogs (salemnews.net) — Columbiana’s boys basketball team stayed perfect at 6-0 with a dominant road win over East Palestine, led by Cooper Brown’s double-double and strong support from Senator Johnson and Hunter Davanzo.
