Batelle Presents Bioremediation Research Symposium
Batelle will be presenting its research as a forum for the bioremediation research results.

From Batelle: Experts in green and sustainable remediation (GSR) practices from Battelle, the world’s largest independent research and development organization, will present groundbreaking research at the Fourth International Symposium on Bioremediation and Sustainable Environmental Technology.
The symposium, hosted by Battelle, serves as a forum for sharing research results, practical experiences and opportunities associated with advances in bioremediation and the growing incorporation of GSR practices. Scientists, engineers, regulators, remediation site owners, constructors and other environmental professionals from around the world will present and share information in a series of technology-focused sessions, including panel discussions, technical short courses, exhibits, and platform talks.
“Battelle’s scientists have spent years advancing remediation practices to find solutions that are more effective, economical and sustainable,” Battelle environment business Vice President and Business Line Manager Tracy Stenner said. “Our experts’ longstanding commitment to solving our clients’ remediation problems effectively and sustainably will be showcased during the symposium.”
Seven of Battelle’s leading remediation experts are giving 11 presentations where they will share their latest research and breakthroughs. Topics of discussion include vapor intrusion, managing large and dilute plumes, ecological assessments of certain man-made chemicals, high-resolution site characterized, enhancements to current biodegration strategies, and risk management strategies.
