Doors open at 10 p.m. on December 26, admission is $5, and DJs broken boy and KevyKev will spin dark alternative, EBM, 80s, and more for a spooky, high-energy crowd.

Meals on Wheels drivers deliver more than just food to central Ohio residents (10tv.com) — Meals on Wheels drivers based in Columbus are delivering hot meals and daily check-ins to central Ohio residents who might otherwise go hungry or see no one all day, even on holidays. Volunteers and staff with LifeCare Alliance pack and deliver food to dozens of stops per route, and the organization is asking for more volunteer help, especially during the holiday season.
   

3. Columbus firefighter charged with DUI after crash in Licking County (abc6onyourside.com) — A longtime Columbus Division of Fire employee is facing DUI and related charges after deputies say his car hit a fire hydrant in Licking County and he was later found appearing impaired. The firefighter, who also serves as an EMT and inspector, has been placed on administrative duty as the union emphasizes its responsibility to Columbus residents.

Incarcerated women craft ornaments for 'Redemption Tree' at Ohio governor's residence (wtol.com) — At the Ohio Governor’s Residence in Columbus, a “Redemption Tree” decorated with red, white, and blue ornaments carries messages of hope from incarcerated women. Participants at the Ohio Reformatory for Women in Marysville crochet ornaments, scarves, and other gifts from donated materials, all aimed at giving back to communities they once harmed and connecting their work to the capital city’s holiday traditions.

Ted Ginn Jr. named head coach of Columbus Aviators (highlandcountypress.com) — Columbus football fans will see a familiar face on the sidelines as former Ohio State star Ted Ginn Jr. takes over as head coach of the new Columbus Aviators UFL team. Ginn says he’s eager to build a winning tradition here, with the Aviators’ inaugural spring 2026 season set to bring more professional football to Central Ohio.
