City Of Dayton: Recreation Offering Aquatics Certifications

The City of Dayton Department of Recreation is offering two American Red Cross aquatics certification course series in December at the Northwest Recreation Center (1600 Princeton Dr.).

The Lifeguard course is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 16 and Friday, Dec. 17 (4 p.m. to 9 p.m.), and Saturday, Dec. 18 (8 a.m to 6:30 p.m.). This course is for qualified individuals ages 15 and up. Free for candidates seeking employment with the City of Dayton; $200 for candidates working elsewhere.
The Water Safety Instructor course is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 11 (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.), Friday, Dec. 17 (4 p.m. to 8 p.m.), and Saturday Dec. 18 (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.). The fee is $300 per person.
