Winter Water Tip: Pipes can freeze at 20°F

Try these steps to prevent frozen pipes:

• Be prepared by insulating pipes as well as basements, attics, and crawl spaces.
• On cold days, open cabinet doors to expose pipes to warmer air. 
• When the temperature dips toward 20°F, let cold water drip from any faucets attached to exposed pipes.
