Speaker to talk Banning Fracking, Community Bill of Rights at Kent Library
Tish O'Dell to speak Sept. 22 at Kent Free Library
The Concerned Citizens Ohio will sponsor a public forum about fracking, gas drilling and community bills of rights Sept. 22 at the Kent Free Library.
Tish O'Dell, co-founder of Mothers Against Drilling in Our Neighborhoods, will speak from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. about how her community of Broadview Heights, OH, successfully campaigned to adopt a home-rule charter amendment to ban new gas drilling, fracking and well drilling in the city.
