St. Joseph Academy Names Lakewood Resident as New Communications Director

CLEVELAND — Saint Joseph Academy (SJA), the only all-girls Catholic high school in Cleveland, is pleased to announce that Susan Condon Love has joined the staff as communications director.

Love worked 29 years on newspapers, the last 15 at The Plain Dealer. She left the position of weekly columnist and Homes Editor to join the award-winning West Side high school, home to 650 students.

“Saint Joseph Academy is my alma mater,” said Love, who lives in Lakewood with her husband and two teenage children. “I love the school and I’m thrilled to be able to come back.”

Love’s duties including writing stories about SJA activities, getting the word out to parents, alumnae and students via social networks such as the school’s website (www.sja1890.org) and facebook (www.facebook.com/sja1890), and keeping local and national media updated on important school events and accomplishments.

Celebrating its 120th year, Saint Joseph Academy is the only remaining Catholic high school for girls in the City of Cleveland. With a student body coming from four counties, Saint Joseph Academy is rooted in the spirituality of the Congregation of St. Joseph and works to foster unifying relationships with God and all creation.
