From coding clubs, fencing, climbing, and lacrosse to dance and a practical “Paint Like a Pro” course, the offerings reflect community suggestions and emphasize lifelong learning close to home. 
• Lakewood Council to interview four candidates for vacant Ward 4 seat (cleveland.com) — Lakewood City Council has picked four finalists to fill the vacant Ward 4 seat and will hold public, livestreamed interviews next week before making an appointment, possibly as soon as Jan. 19. The appointee will serve through 2027 and immediately dive into major 2026 issues, including city hall facilities and potential charter changes that could shape how Lakewood is governed.
