Where To Go for Your Flu Shots in Lakewood
In many places, vaccines are available without an appointment.

Between 5 and 20 percent of the population will get the flu this year, according to the Cuyahoga County Board of Health.
Of those, 200,000 will be hospitalized for complications, and 36,000 will die.
The best defense? A flu vaccine.

We’ve made the process a little easier:
, 12805 Detroit Road: Cuyahoga County Board of Health Clinic on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays each month. The cost is $30 for adults ages 19 and older; $12 for children age 18 and younger. Cash or checks are accepted. The fee is covered by Medicare primary insurance. Call for an appointment 216 -201-2041. Â
Both locations have flu vaccines available by appointment only; call 216-529-9100 or 216-226-0600.
on Bunt Avenue offers the flu vaccine for 14.99, and walk-ins are welcome when the pharmacist is in. Call 216-226-2698 for more information or to make an appointment.
The  at Clifton Avenue and W. 117th Street has flu vaccines available by appointment or at the walk-in clinic, set from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 to 5 p.m. Sunday. The cost, without insurance, is $29.95. For more information or to make an appointment call 216-228-9286. The CVS location on Detroit Avenue is not offering a flu clinic.
 Both of the Lakewood locations of have a walk-in clinic for the flu vaccine. The cost is $29.99, but the price is less for those with insurance Medicaid and Medicare. The clinic is open whenever a pharmacist is on duty. For more information, call 216-227-0819 or 216-221-5898.
