50 MPH Winds Could Blow Through Lake County Wednesday
Scattered power outages are possible during the inclement weather, the National Weather Service said.
MENTOR, OH — Powerful winds could storm through much of northern Ohio on Wednesday, the National Weather Service announced.
The agency issued a wind advisory warning for Northeast Ohio and Northwest Pennsylvania that goes into effect at noon. Damaging winds could continue through midnight, the National Weather Service said.
Winds will consistently hit 20 to 25 mph during that 12-hour stretch, but gusts could go as high as 50 mph.

"Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result," the National Weather Service said. If you can, secure any outdoor furniture or objects you have on your property.
Drivers using high-profile vehicles should use extra caution while motoring through the region, the National Weather Service said.

Following the rush of winds on Wednesday and early Thursday, Northeast Ohioans should expect a blast of snow on Thursday afternoon. Between 2 and 5 inches of snow is now possible during that time, according to current forecasts.
