Photo Gallery: Deepwood Athletes Excel At Spring Special Olympics
Athletes competed in bocce, cycling, track and volleyball during the weekend
Deepwood athletes competed in the regional competitions for the summer Special Olympics on May 5.
The bocce teams played at the Wickliffe Italian American Club; the cyclists competed at the UPS Center in Highland Heights; and the volleyball and track events were held at Wickliffe High School.
Many of the Deepwood athletes will move on to the state .

The Special Olympics are an annual competition, as well as a worldwide organization, for athletes who have developmental disabilities.
