Fall Bringing Rain, Cooler Temps To Mentor: Forecast
Fall officially starts Wednesday and chillier temperatures are on the way.
MENTOR, OH — As summer nears its official end, and fall approaches, Mentor residents can expect rainy, cooler weather to arrive.
Though temperatures climbed into the mid-80s on Monday, the rest of the week will be overcast, with bouts of precipitation to chill Northeast Ohio. By Thursday night, overnight lows will be in the low 50s or high 40s.
As summer waves goodbye, it does tearfully. Rain is likely Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in Northeast Ohio, according to the National Weather Service. Conditions won't dry up until Friday.

Thursday — There is a 50-percent chance of showers during the day. High of 64 degrees, low of 51 degrees.
Friday — Mostly cloudy, though little chance of actual rain. High of 68 degrees, low of 53 degrees.
