Firefighters Needed In Mentor

MENTOR, OH — The Mentor Fire Department is looking to hire new firefighters and paramedics.

“We’re looking for the best. We’re looking for someone who is bright but most of all has a passion for taking care of people,” said Mentor Fire Chief Bob Searles.

The salary for a Mentor firefighter ranges from $61,651 to $86,481. There is also health care and retirement benefits.

Applications for firefighters are now being accepted by the city. A written exam for candidates will be held on Nov. 18.
