Former Principal Joseph Spiccia is one of two finalists being considered to become the next Beachwood High Principal.
Edwin Klein, assistant principal at Euclid High School, is the other person who may replace Bob Hardis, who was recently promoted to be his district's assistant principal.
Spiccia after eight years as principal with the district.

When he retired, he intended to focus on consulting school districts about the national Race to the Top program.
However, he never ruled out becoming a principal again.

"In a year, if I find out (the consulting job) isn't what I thought it would be, I'll find another school. I'm not afraid to say that," he said .
Spiccia was principal at Hudson High School before he came to Mentor.
