Michael Robinson's Brother Leads Lake Catholic to Victory

The brother of deceased Lake Catholic graduate came up big with two interceptions.

The Lake Catholic Cougars beat Youngstown Ursuline, 42-27, amid a week of tragedy.

"This one's for Michael," Conner Robinson, the brother of deceased 2013 graduate Michael Robinson, told the team after the game, according to The News-Herald.

Conner made the play that put the Cougars in position to seal game. With his team up 35-27, Conner intercepted Ursuline quarterback Chris Durkin's pass on third down and 6 with just three minutes and 43 seconds left. It was his second interception.

Running back Bret Zimmerman then put the game away with a series of long runs, capped off by his 37-yard touchdown.

"I did it for my brother," said Conner, who wore his brother's No. 10 for the night.

"He's up there looking out for me. I know he helped me tonight."
