Brewer said the drugs and paraphernalia were his, Allen said, so he was charged with possession of heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Kovacic was turned over to Cleveland Police. Cleveland detectives also interviewed Brewer. However, Brewer is still in Mentor and was arraigned on his drug charges Wednesday in .

Judge John Trebets set Brewer's bond at $15,000, which was not posted. His next court hearing is scheduled for May 10.

In addition to the burglary warrant, Brewer also has warrants out for his arrest on an aggravated menacing case in Westlake and for failing to appear in court on a traffic charge in Rocky River.

Both Kovacic and Brewer were homeless at the time of their arrest, Allen said.
