Mentor Police Investigating Attempted Robbery At Convenient Food Mart
Witness described the suspect as as 6-foot man, about 180 pounds, who wore a black ski mask

Mentor police are investigating an attempted robbery that occurred Sunday evening at the Convenient Food Mart on Corduroy Road, according to the department's Facebook page.
At about 10 p.m., a man who wore gloves and a black ski mask entered the store and demanded money from the register.
When the person working the register refused, the would-be robber ran out the doors and headed north through the parking lot, police said.

The victim said the robber was in his 20s and described him as being about six feet tall and weighing 180 pounds.
No weapon was seen and the man never threatened to use one, police said.
