Olivia Weber escaped police custody while at LakeWest Thursday night

Mentor Police are looking for a woman who escaped from custody while she was being checked out Thursday night at LakeWest Medical Center, Mentor Police Capt. Ken Gunsch said.

Wickliffe Police arrested Olivia Weber, 34, of Painesville, at 6:30 p.m. She was wanted on a warrant from Mentor Police for violating her probation on a previous misdemeanor drug conviction, Gunsch said.

She was brought to Mentor City Jail where she demonstrated some symptoms of a seizure. However, police are suspicious that these symptoms might have been feigned, Gunsch said.
