Mentor to Install State Championship Signs at Entry Points
The city will purchase 20 large banners recognizing the boy's basketball team

Mentor residents and visitors will soon be reminded of the 2013 boys basketball championship each time they enter city limits.
City Manager Ken Filipiak said the city is in the process of ordering 20 banners recognizing the basketball team's Division I state championship. Marketing and community relations director Kathie Pohl will purchase 30-inch-by-60-inch banners from a to-be-named vendor that will let people know they are entering the home of champion Cardinals.
Filipiak said the signs would be installed at entry points, in front of Mentor High School and at "key locations around town."
