This week's question: What are your plans, if any, for Mother's Day?

This is the first Mothers Day we will be celebrating with my mom now living with us.
I would hope to either take her out for dinner or that my husband and kids will make all the day's meals.

Mom has had dinner ready for us every day when we get home from work. Even though we tell her she does not need to make dinner every night.
I really want her to enjoy the day being waited on. Of course it would also be nice for me to be waited on by my husband and kids.
Truly just hoping for a relaxing day and sunshine!
Donna Milnes:
My family always gets together and cooks brunch at one of our homes.
This works well as the grandkids are all young and restaurants are always crowded. The guys are in charge of clean up and we all eat well and have a nice visit.
Melanie Majikas:
Traditionally, we do a nice brunch at our house for all the moms -- me, my mother and my mother-in-law, as well as my sister and sometimes an aunt -- made by my husband and kids.
This year we have a sporting event on Mother's Day, though, so I'm not sure.
My favorite part of Mother's Day was always receiving whatever gifts the girls made in school.
Gloria Kilfoyle:
Usually we go to a park such as Chapin Forest and the guys cook for all of us gals.
Devone Lansing:
I'm hoping to do a great big bunch of nothing! That would be great.
