New Pizza Shop Opens In Mentor

MENTOR, OH — Primoz Pizza celebrated its grand opening Thursday in Mentor.

The pizza shop offers Cleveland-style pizza with influences from New York, Chicago, and Detroit. Its menu includes 42 signature pizzas (including 18 vegan options) as well as wings, salads, appetizers and more.

“I am originally from New York City where people think their pizza is the best. Well, I think Ohio pizza is the best," Joseph Jordan, the owner, said in a news release. “I grew up eating pizza, I loved pizza, and I figured 98% of the world’s population did as well.”

In Mentor, Primoz Pizza is now open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday.

It has several other locations in Cleveland, Parma and Lakewood. Its new location in Mentor is at 9520 Diamond Centre Dr.
