Photo Gallery: U R Beautiful Pageant At Broadmoor

The students of had their second annual U R Beautiful Pageant Thursday.

Twenty-one students -- 13 ladies and nine lads -- participated in the pageant.

Molly Moyer, a ninth grader at , proposed the beauty pageant last year.

Moyer said pageants helped her overcome her shyness and she wanted the female students of Broadmoor to have an event where they could express themselves and have fun.

Showstoppers School of Baton and Dance donated trophies so all of the girls could know they are winners. congregation collected prom dresses for the girls. Friends of Moyer also helped with hair and makeup.
