Let me begin by thanking , including the ones sent to me via Facebook and Twitter.

All totalled, we have eight candidates for the best fish fry in Mentor. They are:

St. Gabriel. (Yeah, technically it's in Concord Township but it feels right to include it.)

Polls close 9 a.m. Friday. I'll announce the winner after that.

By the way, you can add your parish's or restaurant's fish fry to our event calendar. It's a good way to let people know about it.
