Snow Could Hit Mentor Friday Morning, Derail Morning Commutes
The lake effect snow could impact drivers during their Friday morning commute.
MENTOR, OH — Approximately 3 inches of snow could fall Friday morning in Mentor, according to current forecasts.
"Accumulating lake effect snow is possible across portions of Northeast Ohio and Northwest Pennsylvania early Friday morning through Saturday morning. The snow will have the greatest impact on the Friday morning commute," the National Weather Service warned.
Snow will start falling at approximately midnight on Thursday, according to forecasts. Approximately 3 inches of snow could fall overnight.

Lake effect snow will gather through Friday morning, when another inch of snow could fall. Snowfall should taper off throughout the afternoon and evening, with less than 1 inch of snow expected overnight on Friday.
There is currently little expectation for snow or rain on Saturday, based on current forecasts.
