Spelling Champ Vishnu Nistala Is Going To Washington D.C.
The Shore Middle School student beat the Geauga and Ashtabula County spelling champions to earn a slot at the Scripps National Spelling Bee

Mentor's spelling champion -- Vishnu Nistala, an eighth grader at -- is going to Washington D.C. for the Scripps National Spelling Bee.
Vishnu bested the Geauga County Spelling Bee winner Alexis Zahuranec and Ashtabula County spelling champ James Elliott in a 40-round marathon Thursday morning.
Vishnu ultimately won the Tri-County Bee by correctly spelling "gregarious."
