Three Hospitalized After Crash On Tyler Road
Two of the men involved were flown by medical helicopter to MetroHealth Medical Center
Three men were taken to the hospital after a blue Jeep and tan minivan collided about 3:50 p.m. Sunday on Tyler Boulevard in Mentor.
Before the crash, police had received calls about blue Jeep that was swerving and driving erratically, Mentor Police Sgt. Michael Kloski said.
The Jeep was first spotted on Jackson Road, then it turned onto Hopkins Road and finally Tyler before it collided with the minivan while just south of the Tyler-Center Street intersection, Kloski said.

Police are still investigating how the crash happened and what caused it.
One man was in the Jeep at the time of the crash and two men were in the minivan.

The driver of the Jeep and the passenger in the minivan were taken to Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby by paramedics from the Mentor Fire Department. From there, they were flown to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Kloski said.
The driver of the minivan was taken to Hillcrest Hospital.
The names of the people in the crash and their conditions are not yet known.
