Watch: Mentor Police K-9s Meet The Community
People who donated to the Mentor Police Department's K-9 program had a chance to meet the department's police dogs and see them in action
Thanks to donations from the public, Mentor Police were able to acquire, train and care for two canines -- Bo and Titan.
Those who donated to the K-9 program had a chance to meet Bo and Titan Tuesday at the Mentor Police Department, as well as see them in action.
Chief Daniel Llewellyn said the meet and greet was a way to thank the businesses and people in the community who supported them.

In addition to petting the K-9s and getting their pictures taken with them, people also got to see Bo and Titan sniff out some drugs that were hidden in the gas tank of a car.
The K-9 handlers, Patrolmen Terry Wurgler and Bill Mackey, also talked about how valuable the dogs were to the department.
