Wind Advisory Issued For The Area, Snow Expected

Meteorologists warn that gusts could reach up to 50 mph

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for the area from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. today.

Meteorologists predict that winds will blow between 20 and 30 mph with gusts reaching as fast as 50 mph. The winds are expected to be the worst in the afternoon with speeds diminishing in the evening.

The winds will be strongest along the Lake Erie shore line.

These winds will be paired with snow in parts of the region. Ashtabula and Trumbull Counties have issued a winter storm warning.

Meanwhile, Lake County is expected to receive two to four inches of snow.
