Woman Accused of Assaulting Mentor Police Officers
Police said Jessica Elliot assaulted officers after a public intoxication arrest

Mentor Police say a case of intoxication turned into an assault this week.
Police responded to a report of an inebriated woman near the intersection of Little Mountain Road and Mentor Avenue around 12:20 a.m. Officers found Jessica Elliot, 27, "intoxicated and unable to care for herself," according to the police department's Facebook page.
Police arrested the Cleveland resident for public intoxication, but she would accrue more charges when she arrived to jail. Police said Elliot assaulted two officers and "purposely exposed them to her blood."
