• OPD handles multiple theft and robbery cases during Thanksgiving week (oxfreepress.com) — Oxford police handled a string of serious incidents over Thanksgiving week, including domestic violence, a reported robbery at Day Estates, an assault at The Woods Bar, and several theft and fraud cases. Officers also investigated a structure fire on Beech Street, an overdose, a death discovered after a 911 hang-up, and reports of stolen equipment and packages. 
• Innovative Northeast Ohio Nursing Program offers unique opportunity for Miami Nursing students (miamioh.edu) — Miami University nursing students in Oxford will soon have a new pathway into an intensive 24‑month program based in Northeast Ohio, starting coursework in 2027. The initiative allows direct admission from the Oxford campus with a planned transition to the Cleveland area, where students will complete clinical rotations with major healthcare partners while still earning a Miami degree.
