• Stark Sheriff's Office adopts Blue Envelope Program (cantonrep.com) — North Canton residents with communication challenges will soon see local police offering Blue Envelope packets at community events, as part of a new Stark County program to ease interactions during traffic stops and emergencies. The sheriff’s office and Ohio State Highway Patrol are already participating, with free envelopes and decals available through the Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities to help officers better understand disabilities and reduce stressful encounters.
