The case, brought by landlord CF Homes, could affect how all local landlords and renters are regulated going forward.

Price Park getting upgrades (cantonrep.com) — North Canton is rolling out major upgrades this year, including a new accessible playground and gazebo at Price Park and a long-planned new fire station funded by last year’s income tax increase. City Hall’s police space is also being renovated, with work on the park expected to wrap up this spring.
   

• Man accused in North Canton apartment shooting found competent to stand trial - Jordan Miller News - News That Matters To You in Ohio (jordanmiller.news) — A North Canton resident accused of firing shots inside the Versailles Gardens apartments on Applegrove Street NE has been ruled competent to stand trial, according to Stark County Common Pleas Court. Prosecutors, defense attorneys, and a court-ordered evaluation agreed he understands the proceedings, and a separate exam will now determine his sanity at the time of the October incident that injured a neighboring woman.
