Bank Robber Holds Up Shaker Heights Bank

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — A robber held up the Ohio Savings Bank in Shaker Heights this week, the FBI announced.

On Tuesday afternoon, an unidentified man walked into the bank on Farnsleigh Road and waited for a teller. Once he got to the teller, he handed them a demand note which said, "Give me all the money; I have a gun."

The teller handed over the cash and the man ran out of the bank, Cleveland 19 reported. He then got into a vehicle and drove away.

Investigators believe the vehicle is a tan Chevrolet sedan, according to the FBI.

The suspect may be connected to a bank robbery that occurred in Cleveland earlier this week.

Shaker Heights Police Department and the FBI are asking the public for help identifying the robber. Anyone with information on the robbery should call investigators at 1-877-FBI-OHIO.
