Business Left Open Overnight, Cash Box Stolen

The information in these reports is from the Shaker Heights Police Department.

The owners of Little Gym on Chagrin Boulevard reported that someone stole a cash box from the business, according to Shaker Heights Police.

The business, located at 20707 Chagrin Boulevard, called police at 8:48 a.m. on June 3 to report that the cash box, which contained $50 dollars, was stolen from the back office overnight.

The business told the police that somehow they left the front door unlocked overnight.

Theft: Someone threw a cinder block through a car window near the 2500 block of Kemper Road. A cell phone was stolen from inside.

Breaking and Entering: The occupant of a home at 2700 Leighton Road reported that someone entered the garage through an unlocked door and stole a number of items, including clothing from a car, two leaf blowers, an iPod and a pair of hedge trimmers.
