Design Art For Shaker Utility Boxes, Win A Juried Art Contest
The Shaker Arts Council is again sponsoring a juried art contest focused on beautifying utility boxes throughout Shaker Heights.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Utility boxes throughout Shaker Heights are again the focus of an upcoming art contest.
The Shaker Arts Council announced this year's juried art contest on Friday, called Painting the Town. Artists 21 and older will again have the opportunity to create and implement designs for utility boxes throughout the city.
The contest is open to artists who live or work in Shaker Heights, the council said. Designs and applications must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. on March 4.

The Shaker Arts Council has sponsored similar juried art contests connected to the city's utility boxes for years. This year's contest is supported by the Ohio Arts Council.
