Farnsleigh Road Construction Starts Thursday, July 19

Drivers are being told to expect delays.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH -- Drivers should expect delays near Farnsleigh Road and Warrensville Center in the revitalized Van Aken District over the next week. Crews will be installing stamped concrete in the area and will be working Monday through Friday, starting on Thursday.

Crews will begin their work on Farnsleigh on Thursday, July 19, the city said. The project should take about one week, weather permitting. Work will be done from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Commuters should expect delays, the city said. While traffic will be maintained going both directions on Warrensville Center Road, lanes will be shifted. Farnsleigh Road, between Warrensville and Van Aken Boulevard, will only be open to westbound traffic.
